Classification rules

Sessions are classified from OTLP trace spans as they arrive at the dashboard collector.

  • Template-driven — any chat session with at least one Qatalyst MCP tool call (for example mcp_qatalyst_mcp_* or mcp__qatalyst-mcp__*).
  • Harness-driven — any chat session where an agent skill was invoked (skill tool call or non-empty github.copilot.context.skills on the span).
